That's tough to say. What I learned last time is the "experts" got it wrong.

I actually sold at a good time. But kept buying after 30-40% dips, not knowing the alts would eventually drop 90%.

Did your friends get out at just right times too? Somehow in 2021-2022 the majority buying the stuff said online they got in and out at the right time. Before that Adoption was coming they said

I bought some around 2019 just for fun. I don't really follow it much, but I did just check Coinbase and it has 4X in value since I bought it. I will hodl for another few years and see what happens. Playing with house money, so I don't mind.

I don't see that it was up 3% at any point today.

And in fact, is down on the day.

I bought in 2017, currently trading at 20X what I paid. I don't even really understand what it is or how it works but it's beating the hell out of my stock portfolio. I figure at some point I'll sell it to a greater fool assuming it doesn't go to zero first.
