Apples and bowling balls. Two different things. The two guys have significantly different popularity and significantly different notoriety. And they got sh!tcanned for very different things in very different contexts. One thing I hate about all media is the fact that the hosts never get a chance to say an honest goodbye to their audiences. Dominion settled because it would take years to get their money if it had gone to the trial. Fox would not give up until they exhaust all the appeals. They and their shareholders would rather get $787.5 million today than getting $1 billion five years from now.

Because Dominion's reputation/brand/goodwill was cleared by the judge's findings of fact that Fox published material falsehoods at least 20 times, because Dominion was able to publicly file many of the documents where Fox admitted they deliberately misled people like yourself, and because Fox News promised to hand Dominion a check for $787 million. With all of those goals accomplished, I suspect Dominion decided paying more lawyer bills was no longer good ROI. They got everything they wanted and more.
