Physical burnout?
Mental burnout?
Brand failing to financially deliver/cash reserves drying up?
Matt Fox uploading a “run” that was really him riding in the back of a truck and getting all these wild times/segment leaderboards —> peak YouTube jabroni behavior. Doubles to hide his actual best race times on his profile too. Yikes

according to one of the comments on his Strava, NB approached him to take down a shoe review on a shoe that was supposed to be embargoed still
Other than the brief comment about family illness there is no explanation offered as to why his running has tanked suddenly. I've got time to kill later so might zip through some of the recent vids to see if any explanation but who could have guessed he might get injured after that unnecessary 28M run around Denver city centre?....
It's time to check in on our favorite running YouTubers.
The Doctors of Running crew is mad at Seth DeMoor for doing the twist and bend test on his shoes! They stopped themselves from uttering the full term, but they clearly thought it was BS.
Kofuzi is reviewing a ton of shoes after running a PR in Houston and making several videos about it.
Ben Felton is pining for a British Marathon Trials because a BTQ would be a huge goal of his and theme of his videos.
Allie Ostrander is celebrating making the US Cross Country Team and looking forward to the World XC Championships. She's also looking for a local 5k to run in Seattle in March.
Nick Symmonds is on an extended sabbatical.
Philly Bowden is disclosing the earnings on some of her videos, from AdSense revenue (not from product placement) as she recovers from the Houston Marathon, where she ran a 2 second PR.
Spencer aka The Athlete Special is dealing with an achilles injury.
And the greatest of all time, the original running YouTuber Seth DeMoor, is reviewing a lot of Saucony shoes. He suggests people skip the Endorphin Pro 4 and race in the Speed 4 because of the results of, you guessed it, his bend test.
And so with that drama, it's time to end this installment of as running YouTubers turn.

This is peak running YouTube. All downhill from here!

Seth out with a members-only video. Have to pay to see it. I think he'll be okay.
How much does it cost to get positive vibes, a flashlight tour of his kitchen at 5:00AM, and dashboard video of his driving habits? Do you have to be a Discord paid member to watch what is essentially the same video over and over again?

He offers so little value it’s hilarious at this point. His ode to mountain running video has done so poorly compared to any shoe video it shows his core viewership is down so much from where it was…… at this point I’m either convinced they are running their life on debt or Seth/his wife are trust funders. “Important business man” Seth definitely is not supporting himself via YouTube and rebranded “craft” channel merch.
The mountain running video was a 4.8K effort in 1:05:28 according to Strava. But edited, it's presented as some monumental winter trail run complete with huffing, puffing, and a dramatic "exhausted after an epic climb" into the snow. Total Hollywood fakery at this point.
