You may be a nice person, but whatever you are it starts with ill-informed.
You are going to believe what you are going to believe, regardless of facts. Maybe Trump was right in his book.
I will do my best to not respond further and will leave you with this:
The republican leadership, prior to the election and the Big Red Wave (up to 60 flipped seats in the house & control of the senate) promised:
1) "Our first act will be to end entitlements. Social security payments will be cut drastically and the age to collect will be 72-75 (although some promised 80)."
Don't worry about me. I made some lucky investments and can retire at any time since I'm in my early 50s. It's people who I don't know, like you, that will be working until 80 maybe even if financially secure. And there are many that have to make a choice between food/rent and putting something aside to supplement their $400 a month social security starting in their mid 70's. But I do care about others and it pisses me off.
2) "We will give another tax cut to the richest Americans." After all, the Musk, Bezos, and Gates of the world have to eat also.
Now that is one hell of a platform. Keep your head in the sand so you can "own those libs" while you drag your sorry butt to work at age 70.
