I’m not even a huge Grant fan and letsrunners can sit on their couch and say how someone going to world championships is dumb. SMH

I know it’s been said already, but something is up with BTC. One female and 2 men make the 10k world team and I haven’t seen any of them even crack a smile. I mean this is Mcgorty’s first world team and he looks visibly uncomfortable on the podium. Something is up.

Were you watching the race?? Bor literally looked around for Mcgorty, then went from lane 1 to lane 3 in about 25 meters to intentionally cut him off. Mcgorty moved inside to lane 2. I couldn't see if there was clear contact or not, but it was 100 % Bor's fault if there was.

Bor had nothing left in the tank too. It looked like a marathoner bonking.

I'm a massive Grant fan, I just think he should've (and could've) won that race easily. With all due respect to Klecker, Grant is two levels above him (and every other American 10k runner), and he needs to start acting like it.

There's a front view from the finish line, and I've watched it probably ten times. Bor's right foot kicked the track and he went down. I don't think McGorty ever touched him.

I agree, it seemed like Fisher wasn't pressed to win, because he certainly didn't run that race like he was hungry to win. I was puzzled by his tactics the entire time and was surprised Rowbury didn't comment on them. Props to Klecker. Glad to not see a Bowerman sweep. Was really rooting for Monson.

Again unless there is something I’m missing yes Barega is looking at Fisher in this race with possible confusion. He closed in 52/1:52+ to win Ethiopian Trials last year in 26:49. Has Fisher developed a kick?
