I didn't express any opinion, but I relied on the advice of the WADA experts.

You are the one suggesting that WADA has the best expertise on how to enhance elite performance, despite never doing so.

But WADA researchers often disclaim any such knowledge of elite athletes in their research.

And the WADA lawyers say it is not necessary to establish that substances actually enhance performance.

I'm not so sure WADA relies on the knowledge of coaches either.

But in two short pages, you've come a long way from "since (The experts that WADA use) more than anyone else would know whether drugs actually enhance performance" to arrive at "they don't have to be experts".

You didn't grasp what was clearly meant by the phrase "they (WADA experts) don't have to be experts". It was ironic - irony isn't in your mindset - because I was referring to the kind of expertise that only comes from actual experience of doping.

You are wrong, as usual. WADA is not merely speculating when it bans a drug. They are given expert advice on how the drugs can aid performance or the drugs wouldn't be banned for that reason. What they don't know is exactly how much any given athlete will benefit. That is for the athletes and their coaches to know.

As usual, you are wrong to say I'm wrong.

It is correct for me to say WADA and their experts do not claim to know what you claim they know.

Compare your new claim "can aid" with your initial claim of "actually enhance".

I would agree that these experts advise WADA on which drugs can potentially aid, in theory, but they lack practical knowledge, in reality. They are often the first ones to admit that.
