Now he has driven the stock market into a wall and there isn’t one coherent stated policy objective. no one knows if it a short term negotiation tactic or long term to raise tax revenue or long term to try to bring jobs to the US. the uncertainty will not encourage capital investment.

We have massive Financial Deficits with China, the European Union, and many others. The only way this problem can be cured is with TARIFFS, which are now bringing Tens of Billions of Dollars into the U.S.A. They are already in effect, and a beautiful thing to behold. The Surplus with these Countries has grown during the "Presidency" of Sleepy Joe Biden. We are going to reverse it, and reverse it QUICKLY. Some day people will realize that Tariffs, for the United States of America, are a very beautiful thing!

Question for Trumpers: Why have you all spent decades buying Chinese made junk at Walmart if you care so much about the trade deficit? You could have been buying domestic products for much of your own personal consumption all along, right?

This "lib" wears Alden shoes made in Massachusetts and Hickey Freeman suits made in upstate NY. My beer comes from a brewpub and most of my food comes from farms within a relatively short drive of my city. My furniture was handmade my a local craftsman. And here the people screaming about the trade deficit seem to be the ones who can't get their hands on enough foreign products to ever satisfy their desires.

So I guess my question is basically, why can't you all "be the change you want to see in the world," as they say? You could have been buying American before the tariffs were ever even considered and before Trump was even in politics.
