What surprised me most was the positive reaction from most drivers: thumbs up, honking, etc. Even more surprising was I did not see a single negative response even from people with Trump bumper stickers. I expected belligerence, profanity, the finger, etc.
The other surprising thing was seeing a bunch of people I know through commuity activities and had no knowledge of their political stance. I spoke to one family I know with a sign about cancer research & treatment funding. Their youngest kid has cancer. Their other kid is 2yrs from going to college. The mom told me they made a terrible mistake voting for Trump. At least they can see his failures now. Better late than never.

If Trump needs a third term to fix the mess Democrats have made, he should be able to take the third term regardless of what the Constitution says. Either pass a bill allowing a 3rd non-consecutive term or declare a state of emergency / martial law due to fentanyl, violent crime, or the border invasion

Uncertainty and lost capital (stock market & consumer spending loss with price increases and massive gov. layoffs) doesn't make companies invest in new factories. It causes them to preserve capital, ie. layoffs, R&D cuts, and waiting for stability which Trump will never provide.
It would not be at all surprising to see some large company expansion projects scuttled or put on hold even if ground has been broken in light of recession warnings. Stellantis already shut factories.
