The more that Trump looks like he’s out of his depth, the more that business leaders loathe his policies, and the more that ordinary Americans become concerned about him, what is a pro-Trump keyboard warrior to do?

Gotta put all the focus on the fringe Left to make it seem as though the most radical element opposing him is representive of opposition to him.

"Conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro did a shocking 180 on President Donald Trump Friday, calling his tariffs 'probably unconstitutional' and 'pretty crazy.'

The political commentator who has voted for and fundraised for Trump is now breaking ranks with the MAGA leader because of differing economic viewpoints.

'The president’s vision of international trade is, I’m sorry to say, mistaken,' he announced to his seven million YouTube subscribers on yesterday’s episode of the Ben Shapiro Show.

'This is pretty crazy,' he said, adding, 'We are punishing countries that have a low tariff rate with us.'

He said that trade is a 'mutual benefit' and the idea that 'somebody is getting screwed in every trade deficit is simply 'not true.'

Shapiro's comments came only a day after Trump celebrated 'Liberation Day,' which he said will 'forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America's destiny was reclaimed, and the day we began to make America wealthy again.'

During Trump's April 2 speech, he held up a chart that depicted the names of several countries and their respective 'tariff rates.' Shapiro said that the math was all wrong.

'I looked at this and I thought, 'Holy c--p, the EU is charging us 39 percent tariff rates on all products? Then I thought...that doesn't sound correct to me. That doesn't sound right at all, in fact. That sounds totally wild.'

He said that Trump's tariff's were based on 'false notions about the American economy' that included the idea that the economy was failing: 'This is a myth that is propagated by both parties.'

Shapiro also isn't on board with the MAGA-strong wish to return to the 1980s.

'America does not suck and has not sucked for several decades, economically,' he said, disagreeing with the take that the U.S. has been 'hollowed out' by deindustrialization and is no longer manufacturing.

'Why can't I have a factory job just like 1955 Ford?' he mocked, proceeding to scoff: 'Yes, I'm sure that you wanted to be in a non-air conditioned factory, riveting all day...that's your ideal job. No it isn't'

Shapiro additionally opposed Trump's notion that international trade is destroying the middle class. On the contrary, he said, the upper middle class has grown and wages have gone up.

'I know this cuts against the conventional political wisdom, which is that the American economy sucks and it's because everybody is cheating us,' he admitted but stood firm in his belief.

'I can name you a period in American history where there was a fairly large surplus in America's balance of trade,' he said. 'The entire Great Depression.'

Apparently Shapiro is a RINO.

Roughly 75% of actresses and female models are liberals. This compares to 15% of actresses and female models who are conservatives. (10% are not known and/or middle of the road).

Trump’s tariffs are going to bring manufacturing and jobs back to America that should’ve never left “if” America was under bold leadership. We are going through a painful restructuring period.

Over the weekend, Taiwan and Vietnam dropped tariffs on US to 0%.
India is negotiating a new trade deal with the US. 50 countries have called the White House to negotiate trade agreements. The Art of the Deal.

The ultimate goal is ZERO tariffs over time. The trade deficit is going to get reversed BIGLY in our favor. Give it time, libs.

Let’s use your Vietnam example. What will the impact of them lowering their US tariffs to 0% be?

MAGA: well obviously this will cause Vietnam to start importing Jack Daniel’s, Levi’s jeans and cowboy hats in huge volume!

Attractive? Absolutely. Intelligent? No.

They're literally bused in and leave the moment the time is up. You look like a fool when you pretend there's anything organic about these rage fests.

You're forgetting that 100% models and actresses have to declare that they are liberal or the vindictive small minded leftists that run those industries won't allow them to work.

I have a prediction…

Knowing what we know about Trump. That he is pure BS and everything is for show to make him feel like a biggly success.

Watch for Trump to start patting himself on the back and publicly announcing when 3rd world countries agree to deals to roll back or eliminate their tariffs on US goods. Look for it to be the countries that don’t do much business with the US because their people are too damn poor, don’t want what the US is selling and are too damn far for the imports to make any sense.

Word will get around that they can play Trump with these meaningless deals that don’t cost them anything. And the Art of the Deal guy will cave on the tariffs for their country.
