Truth is, this woman was "coaching" under Li. She drove the van, bought snacks, and took splits but not in a leadership position. Wasn't she fired from AZ for stirring up staff turmoil (just what i've heard)? If so, sounds like a familiar situation to me. She signed a class of frosh that have run fast but have all had problems of some sort. Only time will tell what she's made of there!

Not sure what you mean about a class of freshmen who ran fast at ole miss. The only freshman (and athlete Erin Dawson didn't inherit at ole miss) on the team is Catie Daigre from over here in Texas. (Kingwood).

She ran 4:58, 2:14, and 11:11 in high school.

At Ole Miss she was 27th at Brooks Twilight (5th runner on an Ole Miss "B" team.

Next, she was 83rd at the Crimson Classic (5th runner on skeleton crew).

Daigre was never a running freak. I bet the coach wanted her to walk in the door and commit to being 100% runner in her first year of college and it just didn't mesh with her personality.

Girls bomb at running if they're not happy with the atmosphere.

Why does Purdue have so many openings. Isn't living in Northern Indiana Utopia?

LSU starts interviews next week for their distance coaching job. Who is out there that can coach? And who are the front runners?

From what I have been told, Purdue's pay structure is the worst in the Big Ten and very poor for a major D-I school. Coaches go in, get some major D-I experience then hit the bricks ASAP

LOL. What, are asst coaches now actually getting paid versus having to serve as "volunteers?" There is no money in XC / T&F, let's admit it.
