Errington wins DIII, breaking Hanne Thomson’s state championship streak. Kinda reminds of when Thomson broke Riley Chamberlin’s streak in 2021
Abigail Errington runs away with it in 16:57.5
Errington sitting in 2nd in the merge right now
I thought Hanne Thomsen was gonna run a little faster. How does she still look in the merge?

not likely unfortunately

She appears to be 5th currently, counting Holly Barker as team and the two Santiago Corona as individuals.
Sad that we won’t be able to see Callum McBride, Will Mulliken, and Nate-Griffin Yeh race- they looked like they had serious potential going into the season. I mean Yeh did beat Rattary in DAL Finals and was returning with 16:03 and 4:14. Mulliken was returning with a 15:48 and 4:15 under his belt. And McBride with his 4:12 and 15:31 pr
Tight battle between Oaks Christian and JSerra at mile 1
Eli through in 9:56, might be seeing something special here. Holman dropped by 16 seconds.
Eli is through 2.1 crazy fast
Yeah guys, Holman’s cooked, Eli has quite the lead on him. We could be seeing the fastest time of the day here. Unless Noonan and Pretre go bonkers.

He's going for the woodward record
Do we know the boys top 5 individuals who qualified for NXN?
EFY is either gonna blow up or run an all time mark here. 9:56 at the 2.1 mile is on pace to break the Fernandez record
Geez pretty tight battle between JSerra and Oaks Christian

honestly, if you have the talent, it's a mistake to go for the woodward record a week before nxn. Save that performance for nationals. Look what happened to Lex and Leo after they went for it

JSerra's 5th 6th and 7th are dropping hard. Might be over here even if Oaks doesn't end great
If Oaks can hold on they win comfortably here. Their #3 might have gone out too fast. Will have to see if he can keep it up.
Does anyone remember the splits of Fernandez's race? I recall him going through the 2mi at like 9:10 but I don't remember the 2.1 split.

What teams do you guys think will make NXN in 2024 out of California?
What about individuals?
Especially regarding NORTHERN California.
14:41, a new CCS record by 9 seconds
