Educated? I won't say holding a single bachelor or master degree makes you educated. Almost everyone I know have atleast one master degree- and here it is free. I have 9 years at university and going strong. Still not properly educated. Working 100% beside 100% studies.
Musk and Trump went to Wharton only because of rich dads. Musk has some brains in some areas so he could have done okay anyway, but it is not random that they stem from rich white daddies

Of course many science PhDs end up as post-docs. Anybody that wants to go into academia (and many other industrial research position) will spend a few years doing research in a post doctoral position. That’s like complaining many people who graduate medical school end up in residencies.
