Plus, war exhaustion is creeping in, an issue we didn’t have some five years ago, which is why the Democrats used taxpayer funded military planes to fly Zelensky to Pennsylvania (her, why there?) to appeal to voters for more money (and to take shots at Trump/Vance). A campaign stop. Pretty sure Trump got impeached for something similar. People can smell the hypocrisy.

I was simply responding to the guy who can’t understand what it is about the essence of Trump that’s appealing. It’s the blatant hypocrisy of the Democrats and impotence on policies beyond abortion/transgender rights that makes Trump an appealing alternative. Nothing about the man himself is appealing. Simple. That is not support for the man as I’m not voting for him, but I live in a ridiculously blue HCOL state, so my vote matters not.

The reason that I know this is because if Kamala Harris was not running you would be saying the same stuff about Josh Shapiro. Or Joe Biden. Or Mayor Pete. The stuff you are pointing to is just left vs right politics. The Dem candidate does not matter whatsoever.

But there is something unique about Trump that allows him to be so vile, corrupt and offensive and yet he never loses his basement of 40% of the GOP. No other GOP candidate has a chance against Trump because the base loves him so much. Why do they love him so much when he is so vile, immoral, corrupt and has demonstrated himself to be a colossal failure in business and politics? This is what I try to understand.

Except I do care about J6. I’ve repeatedly said Trump should’ve done more in the moment and much more quickly to diffuse the Pat-rioting. But, what you are conveniently and deliberately overlooking is there were plenty of Feds in that crowd, and Pelosi all but invited the riot with her lack of adequate security posture because she wanted the trespass to happen, she baited Trump supporters and they were stupid enough to fall into the trap. Kabuki Theatre. She won the war of optics. Clearly worked on you, even as you purport to be an “intellectual.”

Moreover, I find the unchecked insurrection at the border and its implications far more concerning. I find incessant wars in the Middle East and Ukraine far more concerning when we are adding $1 trillion to the debt every 100 days now, and the only solution we have is to “raise taxes.” Heck, I think flying Zelensky to Pennsylvania of all places with taxpayer money to appeal for more taxpayer money in what was a de facto campaign stop after anti-Trump/Vance rhetoric borders on an impeachable offense. Kabuki Theatre. Only a literal retard cannot see it and buys the mainstream media narrative.
