He gave an interview where he stated openly that he feared what form of retribution that could be coming his way. Yes. Donald Trump would have him very high on his list for targeting by his DOJ. He said he has found that it is best to take Donald Trump at his word. When he says he will do things nefarious, he almost always follows through. (muslim ban, not accepting election results, pardoning his fellow criminals) He even spoke in private about fleeing the country. He said that he has a clean record so he doesn't know how he would be targeted for investigation or harassment but is concerned about his very large family of over 50 people. Do they all have all their ducks in order to not be targeted for retribution by the DOJ?
I know that your Trumpism has cause you to now despise Romney. But how do you justify that a guy you used to like, fears for his life and his family's life because of Trump? How can you support Trump's promises of retribution against political foes, the media, generals that have spoken out about him, journalists?
How did you allow Trump to take your integrity and values so easily? Why did you give it up so easily? What is is about him that caused you to change?
Before Trump would you ever have supported a felon? An immoral adulterous sexual deviant? But who on the planet this day does not know Trump is a raving lunatic? She can continue to get that message out through other channels. The TV ads need to be softer and more positive about what she will bring. Nobody wants their favorite prime time sitcom interrupted with scenes of violence from January 6th footage and trump raving like a madman. I know it is sad statement but US citizens are snowflakes in a lot of ways. And she is going after new voters primarily.

This should not be a close election. I don't think her ads are winning people over. Sure keep some of the positive, I feel for you ads, but we need much more than that.
That fact that this election is still close, shows a need for a more effective campaign. She does certainly get high marks for generating enthusiasm but we need even more. Trump is no Mitt Romney and should not being doing this well.

Trump has spent his entire life conning people and he is very good at it. Even his outlandish lies, that many know are lies, seem effective at affecting people to think in a direction he prefers. Trump understands image and presentation.
