One can be vaccinated but able to spread Covid with very few or no symptoms. So, yeah, testing in an ER setting makes a lot more sense than plain ole “vaxx status.”

Hey, we don’t disagree on your points here. Vaxx status isn’t nearly as important. Vaccinated and unvaccinated alike shouldn’t be near a hospital with symptoms and should be masking.

Plenty of vaccinated people are still getting Covid and plenty of naturally immune people are not. It’s not straightforward.
