Remember when Trumpers claimed Biden’s bull market had nothing to do with Biden or his economy? Instead it was because the market was anticipating another Trump term.
Yeah, he's SUSPECTED !! Why didn't we just tell them to go ahead and behead him ??
Seems like a reminder that Trumpism has taught us that, for generations, when a LOT of Americans said, "America is great," they were JUST talking about B-52s, football, movies, and pickup trucks.
Law, due process, democracy, honesty, decency......

'Let him run the country like he runs his business' is what we told you would happen. remember, he got rich while he bankrupted a casino.

Exhibit "A" on need to diversify. Many investors were smitten with tech stocks, myself included, especially ones like NVDA, and are taking a bath right now. But fully confident the market will rebound with gusto.

Bounced back from '29, too. So, '29 must not have been a problem.
Terrible leftist leaders... Argentina had conservative governments from 1880 to 1916 that created all of that wealth.
I know you're the idiot in the room who thinks hitler was a leftist so this isn't for you,
but for the record, right wingers overturned the solid Argentine government and tried building a version of european fascism in the new world. It didn't work, leading to the chaos of the Argentinian 20c.
"In the aftermath of the coup, major changes to Argentinean politics and government took place, with Uriburu banning political parties, suspending elections, and suspending the 1853 Constitution.[3] Uriburu proposed that Argentina be reorganized along corporatist and fascist lines. The coup marked the start of the Infamous Decade, a 13 year period during which the military ruled Argentina through repression, political corruption and electoral fraud.[3]"
That military coup was a direct response to decades of leftist Peronist rule.
The election of 1983 was a resounding rejection of the Peronists.
All of the misery of the 20th century in Argentina was caused by the left.
1) National Security Advisor is a retired Special Forces Colonel who (easily?) gets vetoed on the makeup of his staff by Laura Loomer. The kids might say, "Owned by plastic girl."
2) The SECEF topped out at Major, got run out of a few tiny non-profits, talked on a couch, and might have a drinking problem.
For Trump supporters….what is the plan for high tariffs?
short term negotiation tactic?
way to raise tax revenue so Trump can extend his Tax cuts or put more income tax cuts into a new plan? The tariffs would be long term
way to try to get manufacturing back to the US. that would be they have to be long term.
How likely do you think the high Trump tariffs will be effective at reaching the goal?
the plan for the trumpies on the board is to back whatever their dear leader says, without question. It's not theirs to question a man of such wealth and taste. Not even to ask what the plan is.
But if you do ask trump what the plan is:
undergo the pain now, and somehow have the economy back on track in time for midterms
use the revenue from tariffs to pay for a deep cut in income taxes
rely on the sheer magnificence of and charismatic rugged manhood of Donald J Trump to lure companies to the USA. And if they say no, pummel them with all you can as King.
win the midterms on the back of tax cuts and all the new jobs from building widgets in the USA.
And of course with the magnificence and charismatic rugged manhood of DJT.
All the while, making trump richer and richer of course!

We did bounce back from the 1929 disaster. Why, barely twelve years later the recovery started, and we only had to participate in a world war.

Thank you. My answer to the eternal "Beatles or Stones" question.

Nope. It took an investor about 7 years even if they had invested all of their money at the very peak. You are ignoring dividends as well. Dividends were much higher back then. But over the last 100 years the dividends produced about 40% of the total return of the S & P.
Also, the Great Depreciation was a deflationary period. When you are stating market returns without you are discussing the deflation, you are overstating the decline in the market.
I barely see Magas as human anymore tbh. Another -6% day, and I honestly might support sending them to Gulags when we gain back control of the government.
