It's pretty simple, I think. 3 main groups voting for Trump:
1) Bitter, lower-than-they-think-it-should-income red hatters. Rally fillers.
2) Not low-income, but really receptive, for whatever reasons, to hating liberals. Gary and Sally, perhaps.
3) Extremely low-information voters who don't fully know or appreciate how bad Trump is, know that cereal costs a lot, and for SOME REASON, think that he'll make it better (ditto illegal immigration, perhaps).
This is such a wide range…I know a low 30’s Trumper who makes over $500k annually who thinks he deserves more and who thinks he’s oppressed because of DEI. Entitlement is the shared trait though

He probably is lying and makes $50k. Trumptards lie about EVERYTHING 🤣
He will have a friendly Congress with a slim majority that will pass a tax cut for wealthy people and a few smaller niche issues that don’t mean much in reality. With the slim majority and a recession on the way, a lot of Republicans in swing districts are going to be reticent to passing anything controversial. If Trump can’t get it passed in his first 100 days, then it isn’t going to happen.
Stacking his cabinet with cronies and people of dubious competence will be just like last time. Having a TV show or running a small fringe think tank doesn’t prepare you for managing a large bureaucracy. The civil servants run the show and he can’t get rid of them as easily as he thinks.
Most of the time, he will just bluster and rage tweet to keep the base engaged. Like before, he will blame his failure to get much done on Dems, the media, and The Deep State.
In 2029, we will not own Greenland, Panama, or Canada.
Musk will probably get marginalized by MAGA. Ramaswamy will quit at the first show of legal resistance from federal workers and their unions.
He will probably get to appoint one SCOTUS judge as Thomas will likely retire. That’s a wash.
He will continue to fleece his flock of rubes through fundraising and crappy merch sales.
Democrats take back the House in 2026. Trump becomes an even lamer duck.
America looks pretty much the same as it does now with a few less illegals and a completed steel border fence.

Wow, strange demographic, and view of the world. Would make more sense if reversed: He's between like 50 and 500, and makes low 30's !!
More seriously, it IS a tragedy that DEI is limiting him to only 500K+.

This to me is a pretty accurate description of what likely will happen. If history is an indicator, Democrats are certain to take back the house in 2 years.
Trump will have his bit of impact, and next election is anybody's guess. It comes down to how the country is "doing" going into the election.
let's say a US company was about to be hit by tariffs for importing wood or parts from Canada.
let's say the company 'donated' $5 million to trump via one of his many businesses. buying a condo, renting out an entire floor at a hotel, 50 membership to mar a trasho....
trump would have absolutely no issue giving that company or industry a waiver on the tariff. None. Trump would do it, and see zero wrong with it.
'Acme Corp was very nice to me so I was nice to them' trump would say, and feel good about the transaction. 'all I felt was love' he would say.
and everyone in the GOP would say 'ok that's rough but Biden did worse' and carry on destroying America.

you have zero qualifications for sec def, and in fact you've wrecked both tiny organizations you've managed.
your personal history is a train wreck, with multiple divorces, drunken episodes, out of wedlok pregnancies, non-disclosure agreements, demotions...and you've allowed yourself to be blackmailed.
everyone knows you are unqualified for one of the hardest and most important positions on the planet but everyone is too scared of m'aga to vote against you.
that's the #2 guy in the nuclear command. And the guy in charge of the billions and billions that flow to the pentagon.
a lifetime screwup whose only qualification is that trump has a man crush on him.
AND THEN you have the weak backbone to say DEI is the problem. When if Hegseth was 5'5'', a sikh and 125 pounds he wouldn't have been given any job whatsoever. Hegseth is a pure DEI hire.
Imagine if a black man had the family moral dysfunction of hegseth, baby mamas, divorces, drunken cheating, assaults, and imagine if the Rs would say 'well that's ok you're better now.' good grief.
