Big upset JR Lesher 14:43, haven't even heard of him before.
I hadn't either until he ran 15:00 at Clovis. Turns out he's a transfer from Missouri
That was his season best race per speed ratings. Breakout win and yet another NXN top-10 contender
117 JR Lesher 12 Hueneme (SS) Clovis Invitational CA 10/12/2024 10 15:01.1 187.63 188
At large chances for boys teams aren’t looking the highest, unless maybe Menlo or a D4 team somehow breaks into the top 2 in the merge
So no live stream and live results that are massively lagging. Good stuff California.
D2 teams absolutely blow out D1 teams in terms of Team Time. Looks like D2 will be sending 2 teams at least to NXN
Been watching since he transferred last year. He's kinda been chasing some of Fast Horse's times in ventura county. I had him in my predictions. I lived in Hueneme for a bit wouldn't have imagined state champs + national contenders coming from that little town.
Jesuit SJ - 1:16:31
Glendora - 1:17:12
Matilda Torres - 1:17:31
Division 2 boys race. Sounds like Jesuit and Glendora will be the two teams going to nxn. Doubt that will be toppled.

D1 was wack time for the best race of the day D2 boys
Full results of d2 are up now. Jesuit, Glendora and Matilda Torres average time is better than all d1 teams
Aydon Stefanopoulos, shoot. I was gunning for him to have a nice day. I wonder if he went out way too conservatively.

Gotta wait for Menlo and Oaks Christian
Imagine if Menlo qualified! Landon Pretre would go with his team and another individual would get the opportunity to go to NXN
tyler daillak still not showing up, DNF or chip messed up?

That Jesuit time is the 12th all time team time at Woodward Park (Counting all the NP Clovis results as their own numbered results)

Not impossible, they looked great at CCS, but are pretty inconsistent.

"We going to Portland boys!"

Nah I don't think either will be matching that Glendora time.
15:27 avg is 5 seconds faster than Oaks Christian's average last week at CIF SS Finals on a 3 mile course. I don't think they are running faster than that here.
Menlo has a small chance, but I their 5th runner is still questionable time wise on hard courses.

He went out in 14:55 pace, just couldn't hold it today
jesuit 5th runner is too far back
Unpopular opinion: DII race was a little underwhelming. What happened to Dalliak and Aydon? I was expecting at least 4-6 sub 15s. Glad Jesuit showed up today tho
