There used to be a used music place in town, there they had a dollar bind full of stuff where it was.......who? Hell, I'll gambe a buck. That above cat Lance Canales and that CD was one of the finds, but my biggest.....oh hell yes....was these guys, story goes they just didn;t get along so after a brief time, see ya, what a shame.

Am I right, or was the 90s just the absolute sweet spot for the blossoming of rock (?). It just couldn't maintain in any critical mass way after that.
That's my take and I'm standing by it.
My main man, thanks bro.
To be honest there was a DRAMATIC different going from the 50's to the 60;s talking music, the 70's were very cool and then........mmmm?
I was always more blues than anything else, yes I have everyting and have heard everyting but I can't go very long without my blues fix.
Nothing else has that kind of control over me, yep, a blues junkie.
i get that and I knew you were going to say that, too. But I was just talking about the culmination of one genre - hard rock. Those other eras/decades were just as big or even bigger, but it all came to a head in the 1990s, imo.
Blues, well that's a different story, and I agree with you there.
Also, Rock had it's biggest moment for sure well before the 90's. I just think it kind of fizzled after that point, though.
We get into talking about our musical journeys on here, and this is a song off the album that dates back to my earliest days when I started actually buying my own albums and playing them repeatedly.
To the credit of my HS classmates, some really liked this album, too.
I really liked the album cover, too, and I have to say that in real life, it was not so obnoxious a yellow, but more of a very nice muted parchment color.
As I grew up, I would often find myself reaching for the songs on this album as a prefered way to start my days.
