None of those athletes beating David (or anyone else) count against a golden ticket pursuit. Tickets will go to the two highest placed athletes that I didn't just list, provided they finish top 5 overall. Could fairly plausibly finish 5th behind three of those guys and Eli Hemming and still get a ticket.

There’s already 10 names on the start list primed to beat him. There’s also 10 rocks on the course ready to DNF him.
Top of the field is already in western. He doesn’t have to beat them to get into western. Oh you’re going to be licking your chops to see David again at Western you probably can’t wait. It’ll be the highlight of your life to see him there again.

Personality aside, anyone ever try the “treadhill doubles” roche pushes? incline walking is easy on my joints so this is intriguing, even if it’s coming from a maybe dubious source

Some people have really poorly calibrated bullish!t meters. It’s pretty obvious the dude carries a lot of spite and hate towards people. And Megs is cutthroat, it’s all a show.

Ended up with a calf strain. Did feel strong (albeit with wrecked legs the day after). I cant tell what he actually does though—I was doing incline doubles walking at 15%, at my AeT. I think he might run an extra 3 miles at his LT right after some (most?) runs.
