Newman seems to make a lot of noise for himself to put himself in these positions, but unable to score points at NCAA or SEC. Absolutely no consistency. Should not be that hard at Auburn or anywhere else in the SEC. Auburn would have won nationals if one athlete would have scored in the jumps.
Wasn't he coach of the year at Tennessee in 22? He had like 3 All-americans and a national champ in the horizontal jumps. Not saying he didn't underperform as a coach this year but he clearly has had success.
