There are 2 options:
1 (in agreement with shoko) the fetus is absolutely part of the mother and the mother should decide what to do with her own body not big government.
Or
2 If it's not part of the mother but is a separate person with its own rights which supercede the rights of the mother and which are determined by big government. If the fetus is a separate person it is clearly given rights so much greater than those of the mother. In no other instance could a person force another person to perform such a taxing physical service even to save their life. You couldn't even force a person to do a lesser service such as giving you a weekly blood donation to save your life.
Unless the government steps in and forces someone to give that weekly blood donation to save your life.

Until the fetus can survive without being in the woumb it is not considered separate... which is a truth also reflected in our laws. Sperm, eggs, zygotes and embryos do not have personhood and are not subjects of law.
If you are trying to state what the law says, that may well be true.
But if you are having a discussion of what is right and wrong then how the law defines those terms is irrelevant.
First order of business should be to try to determine right and wrong. Then try to make the law reflect that to the extent practical.
Yes. I also think most people not getting vaccines do so for idiotic reasons and should forfeit insurance coverage if they insist on making bad decisions.
How is not wanting untested gene therapy an "idiotic reason"? I'm a pure blood and am 100% happy with my decision. No pure bloods regret their decision not to take the jab - which is neither safe nor effective.

I just can't imagine how this nation will survive much longer if c. half the voters choose a sociopathic felon rapist national security threat obvious con man whose former employees say is unfit to serve. And who said we should've terminated the constitution last time.
How does a democracy survive when its voters can't even make this basic choice? And it's not like the nation is in crisis - we are at peace, with one of the best economies we've ever had. Carrying on with what we have is not a big ask.
We're doomed. We can't handle democracy anymore. Esp with the g'dam electoral college perversion.
We stopped teaching civics and the internet has killed off whatever common sense trumplandia ever once had.
