The US can not possibly due worse in trade. Our trade deficits have grown considerably for years, especially with China. Everything is being outsourced. No, the context is why he didn't want these PEOPLE to come to our country. Because they are part of the shithole. If you apply a pejorative to a group who did something bad, that's not the same as rejecting a group and applying a pejorative to a whole group just for living in a poor country.

Huh? What does military spending have to do with trade? Oh, that's right, instead of spending more on the military than the next 5 countries combined, we could be spending 3x more than the rest of the world and concentrate on paying for the infrastructure required to be a good trading partner.

Your answer to "loosing" manufacturing capability is what? Trade protection? Once again, the message is sent that America is a difficult trading partner. The world stops trading with the U.S.

Of course, Trump didn't say he wanted more educated people. (Although the idea that poor people are incapable of assimilating or acting "civilized" is obviously wrong and insulting for other reasons.) He just said he wanted people from Norway, regardless of their skills/education level, instead of whatever countries the black people are coming from. That is racist. In any case, I'm looking forward to assimilating all of these union-supporting, welfare-state-loving Norwegians y'all keep talking about.
