The coaches and athletes have been informed. Both Elizondo and O'Neil were not retained. Nothing official by university but it is not a rumour. For the record, O'Neil was loved by the athletes and couldn't have done a better job with what he had. The state the UCLA program is in currently is certainly not the fault of the distance coaches.
As for the social media post from the young lady, it was in poor taste but it is certainly not 'classified information.' If I was a college coach, I certainly would not recruit her.
Thanks for the reply. If true I feel bad for Devin and Austin. The job is probably a bit more difficult than it was 30+ years ago. Best of luck to them and to the Bruins.
And it's not surprising that nothing has been announced given today's big 10 announcement. Shocked by the move.

New UNT coach Doug Marshall just cleared house of all the assistant coaches. Looking for distance, jumps, and sprints. Interesting to see if Marshall has anyone in mind for these positions

Bryant & Stratton College in Wisconsin is hiring a jumps and throws coach. They have had some success at the junior college level the past few years.

He is a jumps coach. I would assume he’d be looking for a throws coach.
