10:01.25 ? they're going to be close to get in to nationals with that time. But, I still do not think it will get them in. looking at last years and the previous years it took sub 10:00 to get in. Just Too Bad!

I don't get what Mansfield did to piss everyone off.
When was the last time anybody was running 4:05s in the PSAC? There has been plenty of grad students racing, and I haven't seen many sub 4:10 miles in years.

Yeah, all of a sudden there is more threat from more schools in the PSAC. It's not just Ship, Rock and Lock for indoor men. Now Mansfield has showed up in the picture.
People are pissed off because they have to worry about more people being better than them.
Suck it up. You guys are acting like Patriots fans. Mansfield is good. Don't deny it. Just accept it. They are running well. Give them credit. It's due.

Actually, I think it was 2005 that we had the PSAC outdoor track athlete of the year, along with the field athlete of the year. That's saying something.
In xc this year, we had two guys in the top 10. The Rock and Edinboro were the only other teams to do that. That's also saying something.
There isn't a damn thing you can say about Mansfield that will make me think that they suck. I am too damn proud of that place.
When I first arrived at Mansfield they may have sucked. They sure as hell don't suck anymore. With the young guns they have right now, I wouldn't be surprised if you were eating your own words in a few years.
Bring up the past all you want, but the future is looking great for this school.
The bitterness about Mansfield comes from people on teams who are going in the "wrong" direction. As I've said previously, Mansfield is assuredly going in the "right" direction. They will continue to improve. I feel them may flatten out a little bit at some point, but not until they are right up there with the top 2-3 distance teams in the conference.

All I can say is CHRIS CLARK BABY! 14:00 and 1st place at BU Tonight. That kid is impressive every time he races, do I smell a National Champ? I truly think so.

Yeah the PSAC showed up this weekend and there were some impressive times out there...expect for Spidell's 4:30 that is terrible for a guy who barely lost in the outdoor 1500 last year...

The guy has had one bad race in 3 years. SO he had the flu. If you guys aren't kicking Mansfield around then you are dogging some poor sap who is having a bad race. LHU and Mansfield will go at it hard at conference. Both teams are good and have first class guys on their teams. The best team that day will win. What's impressive is what the guys at Cal are doing. Clark and Moravac are both running well and they have another guy go 1:55. If Rager ran the 400 they would have and awesome DMR so maybe LHU and Mansfield should be looking out for them. The days of one or two schools ruling the PSAC at the distance events are long over.

I'm not sure where Carney ran it, or if if was converted. Our website doesn't mention those details. Regardless of all that, Clark is doing something few PSAC runners can boast. There's only a handful of sub 14:00 runners all time. (Besides two seconds isn't that much in a 5k). But if he follows Carney's path, he'll have to keep with it 4-8 years and improve to get get on the national scene.
