Hoping Roberts gets to move up. Alumnus of the school, lots of passion for UNC. Those are the guys who do the best and hang around the longest (eg Sullivan, Magness).

Yes, ran for Baylor. Grad of Baylor and UNC. That is the tie I was talking about. He deserves a chance to head the distance team.

You don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Rahn is almost certainly feeling the heat. The program as a whole has steadily eroded under his command and the distance team is as good as dead.

Amazing any of the coaches survived the mess they have going on there. Head coach only wants former pro runner to coach distance and doesn’t care if they have ethics or if they know how to coach.

If MVA was a good coach and was going elsewhere as an upgrade, then Roberts would probably be in a good position to move into the HC role. That wasn’t the case, so UNC will look elsewhere for better results. I hope Logan is looking for something right now because he is not going to be the guy at UNC, and the next coach will probably not retain him.

Why wouldn't schools want maric? And why wouldn't he want and easier academic school that offers a bigger payday.

man, Fetzer is not letting him go, he wouldn’t have a job without throws, it’s the only group that scoreds for him consistently. But that kid better get out of there before he looses his mind, Fetzer’s will do nothing but deceive and lie to you for years and act like there’s nothing he can do about it.

Seems like everyone is very quick to jump on the Purdue/Greene bandwagon. The turnaround of the women's team has been amazing. But could someone tell me why the men still suck?

I guess because if the turnout of one is amazing, the coach has the ability to do turnarounds. If the men take longer so be it, but still the potential is there. Compare that to a coach who flounders around on both sexes for years.
