Seems somewhat short of the road circuit for cyclists.134.5km - 84 miles. Took me 5 seconds to find this. Wonder if she mistook km for miles as even if you ran right round the coast I can't see it being 140 miles

She has two fb pages, an Amy one (that yes, I think said 53:53 before) and a 53 foundation one and an Amy personal profile too.

Her prep for this trip was so very poor. Who sets off on a 400 mile run without researching the route to run?

You can't boast and brag you are running 400 miles, then get there and change your mind just because you imagined there was a flat tarmac road round all the islands, then find there isn't!

Amy is definitely a below par hobby jogger....my wife will admit she's slow, can barely break 5 hours for the marathon, does zero run training and yet she managed to jog / walk 68 miles in a 24 hour ultra.

Amy claims to be the worlds best multi-day female treadmill runner as well as the unofficial back-to-back record holder with her 53 in 53 days claim yet can't manage more than 20 miles of slow jog / walking in this venture.

Amy is nothing but a running fraud, who claims records that she is clearly incapable of doing and then attacks anyone who says anything different.

I can just imagine that if she was followed during her 53 in 53 she would go to Liverpool and complain that there weren't 26 miles of roads.

Pathetic excuse really, you can run the same road twice...

Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but it's hard.

James Howat This particular challenge has set a couple of alarm bells ringing for me whereas until now I have taken everything on this page at face value and generally been inspired by Amy.

It's mainly because of how tired Amy has looked and her overall pace and mileage. They don't really seem to tie up with someone capable of running nearly 75 miles a day for 7 days on a treadmill.

So I have been comparing Amy with established ultra runners, GB athletes and others who have held or attempted similar records. I'm sorry to say that what I have read gives rise to a lot of doubt in my mind about the legitimacy of the previous challenges.

I think the best move from here would be for Amy to complete in some actual, organised ultra races where results can't be questioned.

I'm sure I'll be attack as a 'hater' but anyone of my friends who has ever attempted any kind of challenge will tell you I'm nothing but encouraging and supportive and in many cases have trained with them towards their goals. So casting doubt is not something I do lightly.

My name is James, I work for a well known housing and homelessness charity. I have ambled around 20-30 half marathons, 4 marathons, 1 ultra, 6 half and 2 full iron distance triathlons. So I have my own experiences of being an average Joe putting in many miles and hours of training just to achieve averageness and raise a few quid for a few charities. When I met Amy at the Cambridge half I asked for a selfie because I was a fan. I'm not someone having a dig for no reason but a genuine follower of this page with genuine doubts. good point
