That's awesome for Lee. It's great to see that he decided to run fast 2 weeks after it really counted.
Seriously though, it's a great run (14:30 is AUTO), but I think he would have traded this run for about 40 seconds faster at cross nationals.

I called you would be the first one to try and tear him down for this run...you never disappoint sir.

You are a titanic a-hole. Lee was sick at Nationals and had a bad race (along with Chi and Jesse who were also sick). Just once we'd like to see you give credit where credit is due.
Track time counts now and he's going to be at the NCAAs in March. It really counted today!!!!

History has shown that it usually doesn't work out to go after a qualifying time this early. That doesn't mean you won't see a bunch of people trying.
Nice prediction and History lesson about going out for a qualifying time this early.
Lee Berube Geneseo 14:30.89.
For the love of God Montressor, Can't you keep your great wisdom to yourself?????????
I did give him credit. As for me being an a$$hole, deal with it. No one is making you read my comments. Besides, maybe if the Geneseo 3 some weren't making out with each other they all wouldn't have been sick :)

uhh pick on RIT?? i'm pretty sure they made it to nats, which is an accomplishment by itself. sorry mr. suny ivy-leaguer, i don't see how picking on RIT would be appropriate there. they were right in the thick of things at the end of the pack, so it's not like they did horrible, just not as well as the rest of the AR. pick on some other crappy team indeed, like one that didn't make nats
RIT ran a great race to get to the Nats, I"ll give them that but if you were watching the same meet I was, THEY BOMBED BIG TIME at the NCAAs. Especially when the rest of the AR went 4, 5, 6 and 11. I salute them for making it though. That's always a feather in the program's cap.
I never said someone wouldn't qualify. I said history has show it usually doesn't work out. We'll see how he does in March and May.And it's For the love of God Montresor. Here's a scene for you to study, http://tinyurl.com/yz7zkfj. Here's a better one, http://tinyurl.com/2g9mqh. Have a nice day.

This statement is a slam to Lee Berube and you should deal with your own mean-spiritedness.
Fair enough. I'll play nice from now on. But seriously, "mean-spiritedness"?

But wait, what if he gets SICK?!?
If he gets sick, he will not perform well. Again. Duh. You know what sick is? No one runs to their potential when they're sick.

Good. We'll hold you to your word.
Too much trashing of genuinely good people and good runners takes place on this thread. Let's try to praise good accomplishments instead of submarining them and those that make them. We're all striving hard to be the best we can be as runners and I know what you go through (and visa-versa) and I respect your efforts.
As for Lee, that is one hell of a good run no matter when it was done.

i respect Vin's trashing of good runners and all others, we all need to laugh at ourselves every once in a while and outrageous comments are entertaining.

rumor has it his pump up song was "3" by Britney Spears and could be heard singing it to himself during the race as he was lapping the helpless victims.
Yeah! Let's not hurt anyone's feelings!
Wow, nice run by Berube. Good to get the qualifier out of the way, though tough to stay really fit all winter. Many guys have done this and then show at NCAA's and run 15:20.
He was a 9:0X guy wasnt he, so this shouldnt be that much of a surprise.
