I think it's a good idea to DM her. It would have been better to talk to her in person, but since it isn't possible anymore, just go for the second best which is DM.

I'd be honest and I think something like the "Hey, I know this sounds weird but I used to see you around all the time and wanted to ask you on a date but never had the courage too, u wanna grab coffee or something together sometime." from another poster would be good. If a guy I had noticed and found attractive had sent me this, I would definitely have found it cute. (sorry for my possibly poor grammar, English as 3rd language).

Yeah I'm new to this forum. I got into a discussion with Banana Bread previously. At the time I just dismissed him as being socially inept. But now I'm starting to think that it's all an act and that he's just pretending to be retarded. I find it too difficult to buy that anyone could be this much of a moron.
