Then, go back to the original link and read the response to the investigation, which totally debunks the bias and uninformed investigation. WCS should be embarrassed.

You literally asked "who were the coaches before Milner and Avery who were more than adequate?" The answer is that right before Milner you had someone dominating at the state level, achieving notable success at the national level, and setting people up to succeed in college.

And anyone who was around at the time can tell you who was most responsible, Karen robichaud (But that's not the point.

I asked who were other adequate coaches besides Milner and Avery. You did not name one. But, my broader point was related to the adequacy of coaching in this sport across the district. Most, who are honest and know the difference between mediocre and good, would admit that good coaching is few and far between in this sport across the district. I also asked who was privately coaching BHS athletes when Milner was there. No answer. The fact that someone achieved something great, then, may be or may not be attributed to coaching. That is what I am trying to find out.

I've read the document. That is a release to get a background check done. I want to see his jacket and see where he signed that he received the handbook that everyone receives and signs for. Also what an a$$hole saying you could give me one of you kids cars and you hit te 312k jackpot because of him. At that point I would not have paid the guy a dime and went to jail for what I did to him.

Large percentage of HS athletes do not do well when they transition to college. Doesn't mean it was the fault of the HS coach. Could be a variety of reasons why most athletes do not do as well or progress.

No, it is not a release. That is the whole package. Please get it through your thick head, HE DID NOT GET A HANDBOOK! I requested the whole package, (all of his employment forms). That is the ONLY form they had for him. Now, when you are signed on as an assistant coach and receive pay, the paperwork is more involved. But, they still do not sign for a handbook and the two policies violated are not disclosed.

Regarding the car, it was a light-hearted conversation among friends. The kids had just been given cars. He was trying to collect something three months late and was kidding around to keep an awkward situation light. Did you notice the emoji with a wink? Did you notice the LOL in the preceding statement?

Did he break a school rule? Yes. Is his ignorance to the rules a proper defense? No. Case closed. Move on...

How do you know he didn't receive the Coach's Handbook? Were you there with him? I don't believe anyone said anything about him SIGNING for a handbook. The volunteer form he signed though came out of the coach's handbook ;)

It was not a release to get the background check done. Go back and read it.

Now read carefully: There isn't a jacket, document or anything that he signed to show he received a handbook. Because they never gave him one!!!

Go call the school. Go ask them to prove they gave him one. Then come back here and prove they did. I doubt they did since it is pretty obvious this school doesn't do things by the book.

Regarding a car for payment, That was already explained that it was a humorous text taken out of context.

But hey if I was a coach and client of mine was way way way behind in paying me, and the parent just bought them new cars, heck, I probably would have said a lot more. They are the A$$holes. Seriously . You hire a private coach and then don't pay, for what seems like several months. You claim you don't have the money, but buy your kids new cars??

Meanwhile, the parents kids are being offered running scholarships. Scholarships that they are getting because they performed well under coach Avery.

BTW, how did those boys race after they no longer were being coached by Avery? Let's look that up.

The signed document also contains a sentence that he is volunteering and will not receive compensation. It's vague enough that it doesn't state who the compensation from. By receiving compensation from anyone on the team, he violated that. If he used school facilities or school time, he violated that agreement. Ignorance and being niave is no defense.

I love how you change the subject after you have been slam dunked. You are so dense that even after you have looked at the documents, you still do not want to believe you are off. Then, you have to change the subject. Want don't you do a public records request and satisfy yourself. And, even if you did get the file, are you still going to gripe about him breaking the rule.

You are as dumb as Looney is, regarding this. It is a volunteer form that does nothing more than agree that he understands what volunteering means. It refers only to his role as a BHS coach, because that is what he was being hired for. Most people with half a brain understand that if two parties have a contract, it only governs the relationship of the two parties, not anyone else one might be involved with. You are a prime example of why so many believe total crap out there and pass along gossip; because your reasoning ability is that of an elementary school student.

If you really did look at the volunteer release form that Avery signed, you might see that it appears that is all the rules they had. The formed doesn't mention anything about a handbook. As hard as it is for you to believe that, it is what happened. Call the school. Find out. Produce the document that said he received a handbook.

Okay, how do you know he did receive a handbook and not just a copy of the release form?

Go call the school. Ask them . Let us know .

Take a look at pg 12, he signed on as Assistant XC Coach. The form states: I further stipulate that I am volunteering without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation for my services. He SIGNED it.

It is right there in black & white. If he was still planning on charging athletes for XC training. He should have refused to sign the form or ask for further clarification.

You seem really dense that you can't understand this. He signed, he broke the rules and is now banned. Quit having your temper tantrum and move on.

AD still has those trophies.
