Well given the fact that it was never defined in a $200+ million contract where the USATF athletes have to actually wear their Nike gear at Worlds it does seem to be poor lawyering in my mind. Or i guess it's possible that the nike lawyers were so good and the contract was so restrictive that USATF is now embarrassed to admit the details of it.
