Marriage between multiple people is not legal in the US. You could make an argument for legalizing it, but that would require new laws rather than removing discrimination against a class of people.

this is being pushed back to states. Lance's state GA will continue to outlaw gay marriage (which makes Lance feel safe), and other states will keep it legal.

Abortion will be legal in some states, and illegal in others (despite RvW).

Religion/intelligent design will be placed in classrooms in these same states, and prohibited in the others.

the lines between states are becoming very clear. If you are offered a job and Lance (or a person similar to him) is going to be your colleague and neighbor, you will either love it or hate it. No in between.

Lance is surprisingly consistent in his beliefs. And probably is part of a the very least a plurality in his community, if not a majority.
