Faster than heat 1?
Kiprop is seating at an internet cafe and thinking to himself-- People will pay $20 to watch me do 1500m intervals at 3:36. Laughing to himself--- Crazy Americans

He beat two medalists.
Symmonds, 3:35, Jager 3:36
why would Kiprop rest 3:36 between repetitions?
Alberto Salazar, coach of the year!!!
what did levins run?
Cory Leslie is about to take this from the fourth heat

Maybe he likes having his recovery EXACTLY 1:1 with his workbout?
In all seriousness I don't understand why people have such a hard time understanding what the "interval" is and what the "repeat" is.
Really wish I could see these races live though...can get some from the comments, but can't really see how the race unfolded.
Any results for Rupp/Lomong/Centro? Pretty surprising Leer beat them all, with a none to fast last lap.
LEvins 4th 3:36
Obviously I'm glad that I didn't pay $20, but wasn't Duane Solomon supposed to take Heat 1 through 800 in 1:52? Sounds (from Twitter) like it was a 1:57, which is pretty tough to sub-3:35 off in May
They took the check from Leer and have it to Symmonds!
Fernandez DFL 3:53

good catch
Rupp put the hammer down with 400 to go....Leer just got him at the line..Rupp was second...yeah, ahead of all the best "milers" in the USA :)
57 split, Heat 3
