Who are “they”?

There are some wrongheaded people here, some of whom are making the dubious decision to spend time trolling and sh**posting after a horrifying act of violence. And others are enjoying it because of the ways their minds are distorted by their deep partisanship. They seem to me to be a very small percentage of people posting about this online, who are themselves a small percentage of Americans and not likely to be a representative sample.

So who are “they” in your view?
