Easy peasy😂
35k split and Leanne is 33sec ahead of Jess
Kipchoge with a solid finish considering he's almost 41. Not sure of the time yet, looks like he managed about 2:08?
Hailemaryam Kiros wins. Such a quiet race early on, I though he might be struggling off the back a bit but clearly just measured his effort perfectly. Addisu Gobena, Tabello Ramakongoana round out the podium
as always, its about them missing the key parts of the race, almost on cue. Its like they watched how NYC does it, how Chicago does it (both very poorly) and decided to emulate all the worst parts of the race coverage.
It really takes talent to miss the break, miss the finish of the second place, and then decide that watching the top 3 just mill around and pour water on their heads is more important than watching the rest of the field finish. Such poor direction, such poor choices.
And it STILL as a better broadcast than Chicago.

9th in 2.08.31 - just beats his times from Rio and Tokio Olympics.
Looked pretty good at the end. 2:09 I think

Any word on the Aussie men. My coverage is too poor to watch.

Not that you'd know it as Channel 7 didn't show a damn thing. But Tom DC just finished second Australian male in 2:13 (Haftu 2:11). Huge run. Coverage of the Australian champs has been a disgrace. Other WMM do a great job of showcasing the local champions.
KING CHES IS BACK BABY!!!!!!!!!!
Kipchoge didnt even win his age group
It's all Sifan now, alone and fighting for the CR.
No surprise in the women's race, Hassan takes the win in a dominant performance a new course record. Looks to have finished unofficially in 2:18:20
KING CHES FANS TAKE NOTE:
Edward Cheserek's 2:07:38 is a better performance than his 2:05:24 PR in the fast Valencia race Dec 2024.
I think that Sydney runs 3-4 minutes slower than a Berlin/Valencia type course, so 2:07 is probably worth 2:03-2:04 on a fast course and good weather day.

We know that Sifan Hassan is past her prime, and Eliud is essentially finished. So don’t expect too much out of either of them. Sifan can at least contend for the podium, even past her prime.
This guy goes home devastated
Kosgei 2:18 high for 2nd.
Did Sifan say to herself as she crossed the line, why do I do this?
The ever unique Sifan.
2hours 18mins and a bit and Kosgei under 2 hours 19 min also.
Cool cool cool. Just went to an ad break when Leanne and Jess are coming into finish. Far out!
