As the leader of the Kidali hype train, I was impressed by his effort.
He ran SUPER hard in his semi. Sometimes you see foreigners not care as much. He was digging deep. While his should was wrapped, he appeared to be limping. No one can run a good 800 while injured. I would have dropped out.
All of that being said, I do have a buddy who is obsessed with the 800. He texted me after the semifinals mocking me saying he doesn't believe Kidali ever ran 1:42. I'm like - He did it at hte Kenyan Trials. He seems to think it was another person or something. HE says watching him it just looks nothing like a 1:42 guy.
Ballsy effort by Langon. Just doesn't have the quite the level of strength Samuel and Musau yet.
Interview should be great. Musau is just better at this point, even if he had some hiccups during the season. Does he contest the Kenyan 10K Trials at Pre I wonder?
