Absurd commentary and I respect you . Guy has been excellent all year running numerous sub-8:10 times and ran his final in the semis at Olympics. He got jostled before the penultimate water jump and ran sub-60 pace from a full stop in the last 550 after literally going back to step over the water jump. He didn’t think they’d advance him and went crazy trying to get a big Q.
That's fair, you are entitled to your opinion. I guess when I see a 3000m SC guy with that physique from Kenya - a nation that currently sits on top of the AIU list for banned athletes, it raises an eyebrow...
Timmy Cheruiyot getting skipped on the introductions. Life comes at you fast.
why don't Nike have Cole in a special gold kit? he should be in Jakob's colors
Ha, the DL live results website says "Jacob INTRODUCED" for Jakob.
Oh wait, it's because I had the Dutch->English translation on, so Ingebrigtsen translates to "introduced"
Interesting Jakob behind Nuguse early.
Solid start. Everyone looking relaxed
Jakob is the man
Woof, Jakob almost tripped on the pacemaker. I'll never understand why they don't jump over the rail when they feel the leaders closing.
Ugh pacemaker!!!
As the biggest hater of paced races, that disaster was hilarious to watch

Pretty strong run for second, rumors of his demise have been greatly exaggerated!
Jakob is trying out something different to see if he can kick hard in last 200m better than everyone. Good stuff
Even before the pacer left, the pacing was already off the wave lights which was disappointing.
Unlucky for Nuguse. But that’s track. Great race from Cheriyout!
Jesus that was a messy race, Kiprugut almost caused a pileup as Jakob went for it, Nuguse got tripped, and the winning time was “only” 3:30.37 by Jakob

Saving his energy for the Copenhagen Half
Goose tripped on his own legs.
