She has done lots of interviews after the race with Dutch media. They love her, practically all, she and her answers are very entertaining and over the top excited. In between sentences by connecting and looking for Dutch and English words she's telling a lot, in a way you have to find yourself the exact content. Hard to reproduce. But one stands, she's over the moon happy. Her ultimate goal is reached, but she is not at all finished.
Yeah her interviews are very amusing given the occasional struggles to find the proper Dutch phrase so she just interjects a few words in English before returning to Dutch during the same sentence. It's a lot more charming and entertaining than awkward or foul.
And often the interviewers help her out. They'll ask a question using a bit of English.
There was an amusing video in Dutch media when Bol learned her mixed relay split of 47.93. They were interviewing the entire team after the race. Late in the interview the reporter provided that split. Bol thought she heard 7.93 and that was referring to the winning time of the race. It wasn't far from that number, tacked onto 3 minutes. When she finally realized that he said 47.93 as her split she backed up in squealy shock. "Me? Me? That's my split?" The rest of the team gasped at the number, especially Klaver, who added a chuckle. Bol regrouped and said, "I guess I'm in shape."
