As someone who has worked on movie sets, it looked like a squib. I’m to believe he got shot, had no physical reaction, stayed standing, and then grabbed his ear before going down. Just being honest, I wish him no harm, but it looked like a squib (and how actos react to them) that we’ve used on hundreds of shoots.
