I'm sure you can see the line for itself. Blind dumb adoration.
Even an honest try to have an on topic discussion is shut down.
I answered his question, which was about the intellectual level of the cult here. Lengthy explanations aren't always necessary for the obvious. Except to the slow, perhaps.
These rankings will mean nothing in an Olympic final. As two WC 1500 finals have shown.
Agree with your first sentence. And these rankings are obviously also out dated: Should be 1.Kerr, 2.Jakob, 3. Yared, 4.Timothy + a lot of other replacements and changes…

Out of 168 posts, 44 were from you. Your cult leader, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, is proud of you. He will now let you sniff his jockstrap as you asked to.

I just don’t see how you draw the line between a regular fan and a cult member. IMO a fan is one who follows an athlete with a special interest and hopes he does well. But that doesn’t hinder realism, criticism and nuances. If a “fan” got that kind of moderate views I think that collide with the definition of a cult member…
One example: ObjectiveObserver is maybe the regular poster that thinks most highly about Jakob’s potential. But even he seems quite moderate: He thinks Kerr is a better runner pr date. And he also thinks Jakob might be vulnerable and should reconsider his racing strategy. And he doesn’t like Jakob’s waving with his arms pre finish. And he also says that Jakob has to avoid injuries to reach a Goat status. + he is even hesitant to declare himself as a fan (probably because he won’t feel obligated to cheer for everything around the Norwegian)… -Not much of a cult attitude here, if you ask me..!
I get it that you think many posters overestimate Jakob’s abilities. (I think so myself). But that doesn’t make them cultish -it’s really hard to know the future / an athlete’s potential (I didn’t see Kerr’s progress coming at all!) A disagreement here clearly doesn’t make one’s opponent a cult member as I see it (as long as he can give at least some arguments for his views, and also can answer opponents with a somewhat detailed reasoning) -one just weight different facts differently…
Do the rest of us regular posters in Jakob threads have to mean the same as you not to be blind cult members? Or are there some special views we have to have (see list beneath)?
1. Do we have to claim that Jakob (when all his racing history is evaluated) has a remarkable poor kick?
2. Do we have to claim that he wasn’t sick in WC 2023 and in indoors the years before?
3. Do we have to mean that he hasn’t a thread of Goat ability in him? Not even if he gets really lucky in his future training and injury situation..?
4. Do we have to claim that he is an egotist?
5. Do we have to claim that he without any uncertainty at all clearly is a doper?
I personally think it’s possible to be critical or nuanced to sides (the greatness and limitlessness) of Jakob’s running prospect without signing up to the list above. But do you automatically think we adore Jakob if we don’t have the same criticism points that you have..?
They are not out-dated. They are updated every week.
World Athletics have their own formulas.
A runner that win a title of WC and hide 90% of the season isn't going to get number 1.
What has done Cheryuiyot in a whole year?
Brian Komen is a total unknown.
Timothy nearly won a Diamond League (Oslo vs Jakob). And this hide theory you pose seems unconvincing -why would Kerr hide when he has the upper hand. And when I wrote out dated I meant in my opinion -not in WA’s opinion…

It isn't a question worth analysing in that kind of detail.
