Do you have any logic for that statement, or are you just trying to justify troll status? It seems to me that like it or not, he has been convicted of 34 felonies under a NY law that uses aggregating factors, and which has been used thousands of times in NYC by various district attorneys. Bragg himself has filed over 120 felony cases under the statute.
A jury verdict is just that - a jury verdict. Nothing more. For it to be a conviction the presiding judge needs to issue a judgement of guilt. THEN you have a conviction.
And it is about to be clear as day which party is the rule of law party, that can support a just verdict, won't beotch and moan about "two-tiered justice," "lawfare" and a bunch of other crap.
He had his day in court.
Found guilty by a jury of his peers.
Lock him up.
Biden won't pardon him.
As it should be.
Republicans should take notes on how to support the institutions that make America great.
The big difference between the cases is that Hunter was convicted in a favorable jurisdiction (6 in 10 are registered Democrats) so one does not have to question the political bias of the jurors. Contrast that with how Trump was convicted in an adversarial jurisdiction where 1 in 10 are registered Republicans.
Bragg and his Democrat donors used the favorable Manhattan court system to influence a federal election. Elections are determined by a small percentage of voters. It is far cheaper for them to buy the case in New York than it is to try to convince as many voters to choose their inept candidate based on his merits. It’s 100% why the Trump cases are taking place when and where they are.
Trump's cases are taking place where they are because that is where he broke the law or had suits filed against him.

Trump was in court arguing all of the corrupt stuff he was doing with Pecker and Cohen and paying people off was A-OK and not election interference. But Trumpers are arguing that any legal prosecution of Trump is election interference.
Why do you say it is interference? Trump is still a candidate. He is still going to be the GOP nominee.
Are you implying that Bragg crossed the line by hurting Trump's reputation with the conviction? You are talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Crimes that happen in Manhattan get tried in Manhattan.
Take it up with Dumb Donald. He chose the venue, by committing his crimes in Manhattan.
It actually is quite simple. Anyone who doesn't understand it is either engaging in Fox News level gaslighting or is willfully stupid.
Claiming a business deduction for a personal expense is tax fraud. If the improper claim also was to avoid disclosure of a reportable campaign contribution, it also would be a violation of federal and/or state law. It isn't unusual for a single act to violate several laws. And it isn't unusual in the law for a certain crime to have nesting or interlocking elements.
It’s a legit PR / legal expense, not a personal expense. Businesses the world over pay companies to protect their online reputation. Look at Reputation Defender by Norton and other services. They do the exact same thing. All those star ratings you get on google, yelp, etc. are often bought and paid for. Biden, et al (look at the letter of 51 or the suppression of the diary as similar examples of an attempt to mislead, although those efforts were both funded with your tax dollars rather than campaign money) engage in similar tactics.

The venue of the case was determined by where Trump committed the crime. That isn't the fault of the Democratic party or its donors. And despite what the right wing chattering class is saying, the statute isn't such a rare, never used provision. Thousands of cases have been filed under it and Bragg himself has filed over 120 cases at the felony level for false business records with the intent to cover or commit another crime.
As for other cases: (1) The documents case is in a likely Trump-friendly location because that's where it happened; (2) The Georgia case in in Georgia because that's where it happened; (3) The January 6 case is in DC because that's where it happened.
There is a flip side to the "election interference" allegation. It is that the GOP is using Trump's status as a candidate to avoid responsibility for multiple crimes. Seems to me that the GOP wants a two-tiered justice system.

Except that the testimony from the former CEO of the Enquirer and Cohen indicated that the payments were related to the campaign, not protecting the Trump businesses. The notion that someone would decline to stay in a Trump-branded hotel or play golf at a Trump resort because of an allegation from a porn star is laughable.

You're spinning in circles. The time for trying case is over. He's been found guilty on 34 felony county. He lost.

It was widely recognized that Trump announced his candidacy way earlier because of his criminal liability closing in on him.
Trump would be a felon already if not for the memo that a sitting President can’t be indicted.
He is running for President because of his criminal problems.

Campaigns are built on a person’s brand. Protecting one’s reputation / brand is a legitimate campaign expense.

Sally, would you care to make a prediction on whether Trump will turn in his remaining gun in the next few days (to avoid a felon in possession of a gun charge) or do you think he can and will wait until July 11th?
Correct...Brain Dead Joe will not pardon Hunter. However, I guarantee he will commute the sentence so his loser son will not serve even 1 hour in prison.
I will explain criminal law to you great Lawyer lol - you are a clown
My first job out of law school was as a prosecutor. What do you do for a living?
You're a felon when convicted. Sentencing is a separate matter, and so are stays on appeal. Thus concludes your legal studies for the day. Go catch your breath.
Mr JD, why not name suppression till found guilty like they do in other countries?

Bingo! That is where the fraud part comes in. Trump argued vehemently it was not a campaign expense.
See. This is easy
Hmm. now Why would Trump not call it a campaign expense? If it was a campaign expense?
Correct...Brain Dead Joe will not pardon Hunter. However, I guarantee he will commute the sentence so his loser son will not serve even 1 hour in prison.
And when he appeals, based on the position that the question in and of itself is a violation of the Second Amendment, will you support his case?
Clearly the Second Amendment crowd and the NRA should be supporting him in that case.

You are making my case for me. If it was a legitimate campaign expense then it was subject to campaign laws regarding limits on contributions and rules on disclosure. Covering it up as a business expense satisfies the aggregating factor requirement to turn a false business expense into a felony.
And no, legitimate business expenses are not campaign expenses and campaign expenses are not business expenses, not matter how badly you wish otherwise.

He also could throw out the case(s).
Except for two little nits: First, the jury verdict convicted him.
Second, by "throwing out the cases" I assume that you mean that if elected Trump can have the cases thrown out. In fact, he can't throw out the NY state cases because he doesn't have the power. He could instruct his AG to have the DOJ attorneys request dismissal of the documents case in Florida federal court and the Jan 6 case in DC. If the AG complies, it will mark the GOP, and Trump personally, as a party that doesn't stand for the rule of law. Personally, I am less concerned about the Jan 6 case, as I think it is an iffy prosecution (of course, I haven't seen the evidence). However, Trump is dead wrong about the Presidential Records Act and has even admitted to obstruction of justice in a Hannity interview.
