It might have been an accident which is totally fine because accidents happen. I personally don’t think it was an accident tbh. But let’s give him benefit of doubt.
But the bigger issue is he’s going around bashing the RD and volunteers. And he’s going around telling the media that he’s the real winner and bashing on the new winner too. Sorest thing I’ve ever seen an “elite” athlete do (not sure you can even call him or the new winner that…). Pedro needs to learn his lesson and move on really. He’s young or whatever, but that’s not an excuse to sabotage everyone else because you made a mistake. Sad and salty.
