Yes but it was clear they were slowing it down from the front. Jemma can run faster than 2.02 - that’s a poor time in a world final and she was drawn in to that. She needed to run her own race. Hopefully lessons learnt but that time should have been nothing to her. She ran faster in the heats..

Looking at her progressions on the world atheltics page, she was a 54sec 400m runner until last year. Maybe finally found the right event.
