This story is all over the internet, not just letsrun. I first saw it on twitter/x where it attracted a tonne of attention and various videos from the race went viral. Deleting this thread will make absolutely no difference. In the age of the smartphone, the responsibility lays squarely on the parents, who knowingly and unfairly had their male child enter a female race, knowing full well the public outcry that would ensue.

I don't think biological males should compete in the girls category. I also think it's gross how high school kids (who are abiding by the participation rules laid out by adults) are kicked around for political purposes.
