I believe she said her coaches are Josh Neideck or Austin Roark. May or may not be the case, but haven’t seen any real evidence yet that it’s not true — just speculation and LR board anonymous rumors. Maybe there’s a journalist who can get some answers.
As Wiley herself said, the ONLY reason that she bailed on Colorado, a top distance school with a top coach, and decided to go to Huntington University was because Wiley wanted to be coached by Lauren Johnson.
So after all that you seriously think Wiley kicked Lauren Johnson to the curb because Wiley decided to be coached by 2 random guys?
And then after being canned by Wiley, Lauren Johnson still goes to all of Wiley's meets and sits in the stands with Wiley's mom? Give me a break. Lauren Johnson is obviously still Wiley's coach.
That’s just speculation. Lauren Johnson is a long time family friend, so it’s not unusual that she would be in the stands with her mom at a big meet.
Wiley also stated that she’s at Huntington because they give her the flexibility to run pro and other meets outside the college schedule.
Is Lauren Johnson providing workouts for Wiley? There’s nothing illegal about that, but Wiley claims Neideck and Roark are her coaches and we don’t have real evidence otherwise. If she is providing workouts, does that mean Wiley runs her workouts alone? Or is Lauren Johnson providing workouts for Wiley *and* the men’s team so they can run their workouts together? I suspect that no one but Lauren Johnson and the coaches could answer these questions.

Except for the FACT that Wiley herself specifically said that she backed out of the top running school Colorado specifically to be coached by Lauren Johnson who Wiley said was the only coach who could help her get to the next level.
Did Wiley ever say that she ended her coaching relationship with Lauren Johnson? No, she didn't. Lauren Johnson is obviously still Wiley's coach.
