We have merged two threads into 1 as we like to have 1 thread per topic. We don't need a thread on how she's running the 10,000 and then another on how she did. Here is a video of her on the final lap:
Anyway this race told me what I suspected, which is that she is capable of a really fast 10000m and could probably break the NCAA record if she set her mind to it. She just never wanted to run one. I think this was a recovery run with a good last 1600m kick, but this was super easy for her.

Haha, I know she wears Adidas.
I was trying to make a point to the poster (and all those before them) about super shoes. They probably had no idea what Tuohy was wearing tonight (what particular shoe).
Not really a recovery run, it's already 5 days past trackfest, more like tempo/threshold workout with windup close. Real easy mileage tomorrow (school's done now), and I agree w/ other posters that she will run 5k. With Chmiel, Hays and Bush fresh, she may just pace again and find a comfy top 8 spot.
I had never really watched Vestri run, she may be the next 'cuse marathoner, very efficient.
Nice performances by Quarzo and Howlett. Hartman w/ another 4 sec 1500 pr. This again bodes well for the 5-7 xc spots. Shaw squeaked into 1500 final giving state 3 spots.
The commentator described it that way, but a tempo/threshold workout sounds right to me. Not really keen on her running the 5000 but no harm in it. It is nothing like last year a couple of hours after the 1500m final.
