No .... from today's panning around the stadium. Several sections are 100% empty (at the North End) and the upper seats on the East side are covered by promotional signs (NIKE logo, Meet name, Univ of Oregon logo, etc.)
Those who see the ticket prices offered probably understand at least part of the reason for the empty seats.
It's a good thing gas, airline tix & lodging in Eugene are bargains!
So much for the weather concerns. they are destroying meet records so far.
Reminds me of the men's NCAA finals here in 2018. Similar conditions but amazing performances by Norman/Benjamin in the 400, 400H, and 4x400 relay still occurred.
Top 3 all looked good, but Keely was the only one who ran a really intelligent race tactically and was rewarded with the victory. The pacer went out rather sensibly, so Rogers/Wilson left themselves too much to do.
