why are you not saying the same thing to I am serious?? 😂 im in a tuohy thread staying in our lane discussing katelyn and yet natalie cook fans feels the urge to mention her here
im katelyn's fan, im in a different continent, i will always do my best to support and defend my idol, just as how most people will do to theirs
you can cry about it
Why does anyone have to choose a favorite? I want both to run well and I have no idea which one will end up with the better career.
the tags the ncaa put on the 5000m and 3000m races
BTW katelyn tuohy running 5000m on virginia challenge on april 22
nc state seems to be using the elly henes 21' blueprint on tuohy
run one 1500m race
run one 5000m race
run both on acc
run one at regionals
then try to win it at nationals
the only difference is that.. this season they have penn relays on their schedule

I think you may be looking at last year's entries. Entries for this year are not out yet.
savannah talked about whether running 1500m or 5000m in UVA challenge, tuohy already owns the Top 1500m time in the nation, so naturally she will go get a qualifying time for the 5000m, coz less than a week later this meet they will go run at penn relays for dmr or 4x1500m or both .. then after penn relays, they wont go to any meet until the ACC then Regionals
tuohy will definitely run the 5000m at uva, it is where she ran her qualifying 5000m race last year which was also her first 5000m race since 2018
you guys might wan to watch this ,,,
OSU Coach Dave Smith mentions Katelyn Tuohy, acknowledges the fact that Katelyn was buried in the middle when Roe surged and gave Roe a huge lead over her... that gave her the win.
In the full interview, Roe also said that she has been practicing this early move on her past races, she said she has done it before, it was not out of normal for her.
Surprised that you would point out that Smith outcoached Henes for the win.
Imagine what Smith will do with the fastest high school runner of all time.
Wow. Roe improved 1 minute in 3k since HS. Now that is some incredible upside.
Why would Tuohy even think of going to Oklahoma
that was an incredible race to watch. still fun, even knowing the outcome. Quite a feat for ROe to hang on in the end
My take on this is that Coach Henes was not able to know how ready Tuohy was for the Nationals. Tuohy took more than a month off training and said that she only begged Coach Henes to let her double. Laurie Henes would have told her the same thing Coach Smith told Roe if she knew Tuohy could do it or least believed in her.

True, both races were fun to watch. It is also so ironic how the person whom everyone criticized of because of having no kick is now being praised for it and is watched by Coaches for it. Outdoors should be fun.

Oh my ghad, pls lets not kinda blame Coaches here, I just wanted to share a clip of Coach Smith talking about Tuohy
Also, Tuohy already said "own up from my mistakes and come back stronger"
Not blame. It is praise for superior coaching. It can't be that Roe is just more talented so it has to be coaching strategy. Give some praise where due.
I think a factor was that she was doubling off the 5000 so they may not have been sure what she had left. I figured this was her first Nationals, she ran a great 5000 and she would be fatigued. What was fun about the meet is that I don't think even Tuohy realized how ready she was. She was injured or ill almost all season and didn't race from December until the ACC championship. She also had that tough regional last year. Maybe in retrospect, realizing she was thisclose to winning, they would have done things slightly differently. But that 3000 was a terrific race.
Smith did that analysis before the race rather than after. He devised a strategy and Roe executed perfectly. I think Cook will be unbeatable under Smith.
open up a thread of your own if you want to talk about your favorite runner
it's so funny how you force natalie cook on every conversation that's not even about her
why are you living on every tuohy thread, so insecure.
