I thought the Delta (Indian) variant was not only more contagious but far more deadlier than the original?
https://www.ama-assn.org/delivering-care/public-health/what-doctors-wish-patients-knew-about-dangerous-delta-variantWouldn't this be true since it's primarily the unvaccinated needing ICU treatment, with many of them dying compared to vaccinated who don't require any hospitalization and seem to have effective protection from the vaccine? Who cares with breakthrough infections if the worse you experience is mild symptoms that self-resolve at home vs fighting for your life on a ventilator, which seems to be occurring predominately with most of the unvaccinated. So, when logically evaluating this it would seem the benefits of the vaccine outweigh any risks - especially with Delta.
And who cares what grandpa Fauci says - he's not best spokesman in promoting the vaccines. He's an old grouch who needs to retire. He's a little too crass and doesn't get the respect from the younger generation. If he would follow the lead of Gov. Abbott in being more compassionate & sincere in recommending the vaccine, probably more of the vaccine hesitant would take it, IMO.
It also looked like Delta did a number on India:

I completely agree that the vaccine should be accepted freely by those that wish to do so. I have a huge problem with mandates, threats of loss of job, etc. It looks like the mandated approach is already starting to backfire: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/hospital-hits-breaking-point-after-firing-150-unvaccinated-workers/?utm_source=top_news&utm_campaign=usa

Still masturbating to that story? Don't get a blister.

Weird how the people that cast doubt on masking, social distancing, vaccination, etc., have been wrong about absolutely everything from day 1. Remember when Unkel Goebbels posted pictures proving that Hilary Clinton was getting a fake vaccine? So much wrongness that it all starts to run together. These people have lost all touch with reality. And yet here we are, 18 months later, with people still thinking the anti-vaccination posts might be worth reading.
Almost as wrong as all of the 'science ' regarding Covid19.

This^^^, but to the 2600s of the world this makes you an anti-vaxxer who must be shamed, ostracized, and ridiculed. Their complete binary view of the world is shameful and ultimately leads to the exact opposite outcome of what their stated goal is (in this case a higher vaccination rate).
They will get this same outcome if they mandate it at schools, many good teachers will quit.
So they fired their non vaccinated employees and now are experiencing an employee shortage?
Who could have anticipated this?
1. The vaccines are working. Fact
2. The Church of Science has been exposed. Scientists are mere mortals who have political ideologies and can be bought. Fact.

Phil Valentine: "There's no such thing as COVID."
COVID: "There's no such thing as Phil Valentine."
Scuse me, I need to go clean up.

Having an orgasm with another man involved is normal for a liberal male.

Can't you find an A list celebrity to beat off to? Celebrating the death of a guy most people haven't heard of is just strange.

Nah but would a state GQP party chairman suffice? There's been quite a few of those in addition to half a dozen other D list AM radio personalities.
Welp, the FDA has fully approved the Pfizer vaccine.
My question: Where will the anti-vaxxers move the goalposts *now*?

The problem for you is that most of the unvaccinated did not use the FDA approval as a reason not to get the vax. I certainly didn't, there is nothing that could convince me to get the covid vax after seeing my healthy friend be put in the hospital from it. There is also nothing you could tell my friend that would convince them to get their second shot.

virtually all unvaccinated people are ending up in hospitals in the crisis Southern states (this is fact that can't be disputed).
FALSE. That CAN be disputed. Officially admit the unvaccinated while bringing in the vaccinated under observation status.
An old trick applied to a new problem.
You have no evidence beyond this wild hypothesis. All the data supports the vaccine being very, very protective.
How mad does it make you? How many more Americans do you want to die assuming your vaccine White Whale fails to protect? These are important questions. I've never seen someone so committed to hoping more Americans die.

I know a lot more than you. Get used to it. Many deniers lay slain at my feet.
My favorite was that time you slayed the deniers, in March I believe, and said "Biden fixed COVID". That was spectacular! Harambe - legend in his own mind.
Well, he did. We had a safe and effective vaccine in December but it wasn't until Biden entered office that we actually, you know, tried to vaccinate people.
Sadly Biden can't fix the broken Trumper brains, so they will continue to fill up ICUs...

"Shamed and ostracized and ridiculed"
Certainly you realize that proudly posting your ignorance on a messageboard is going to earn you some replies. I am always surprised at the amount of people who think they should immune from criticism for terrible, irrational choices ESPECIALLY when they brag about online like some badge of honor.
As a libertarian, I support freedom of association. A private entity can choose to impose a vaccine mandate on its employees and is certainly rational to do so given the risk of COVID.
Anyone who wants big Daddy Government to come in and say " you must employ dumb, infectious people" is a little to authoritarian for my liking.
So yeah, good on businesses for firing people who show poor critical and mathematical reasoning. I wouldn't want them taking care of patients or teaching kids. If you can be off by factors of 10 on your vaccine vs. COVID risk assessment, you could easily do the same on your next morphine dosing, for example.
In short, you're welcome to be ignorant. That's an American right. But at least man up and stop whining that people are calling you names. That's just sad.
