You just admitted to not really following the sport so I’m not surprised you couldn’t tell the difference.

Strange. Pretty sure I just followed the sport that I follow. Yeah, there was no difference.
Hamza Driouch (Moroccan running for Qatar) and Yasser Salem (don't know who he is) train at Ifran according to this article:
Don't be too excited, I wont be surprised that an African rise from the unknown background and player big roles in the next achievements.

I don't think Richardson runs anywhere close to 10.6 here. I don't think she even beats Okagbare.
You don't think she could run 10.6 with a tailwind and perfect sprint weather? You think she would have done worse than 10.9 why?

Because she's rude and she's American and low ley, she's threatening Jamaican dominance, so me no like har!
Credible win by Bednarek, but ADG is coming, as always. That guy can just find speed. Gatlin mailed it in, and looked old. SAFP coming into form and won almost casually, holding her form through the line and never really pushing too hard. She will be ready in Tokyo.
SCR, no telling what she might have done. 10.6 if she was on, 10.9 if she was off.
And lol Femi Ogunode! Have to watch the race. Loved his form in his 9.93 and heaped praise on his 100m, but we all know what happened. Interesting to see him possibly back in the mix.
This was a fast day, for sure. Ogunode 10-flat? Okagbare 10.9 looking totally mediocre? Hmmm.
ROFLMAO Tosin Ogunode!😂😂😂😂😂
Coordinated much? Uhhh, right....uhhh, left....no, shlt....FVCK!😂😂😂
What a moran! Never seen that before, even among kids!!!!!

You literally said you’d never heard of some of the biggest names in the sport, so you’re not fooling anyone.
De Grasse is back and ready to medal in Tokyo
Hoping WVN pulls off a miracle

Yeah, discounting the fact that Timmy beat McSweyn more handily, it's still funny for someone to think anyone good would pick Gateshead over Doha.
Guess you missed the Gateshead race where Jakob more emphatically ran away from McSweyn ending up ahead of him the same difference as Tim did today. Which "good" guys pick Doha over Gateshead?? Doha was traditionally just for the Africans. If you had any knowledge of running you'd see that Gateshead had 3 of the top 10 guys in the world, and Doha had 3 out of the top 10.
I don't see where Doha is anything special.
Comparing how Jakob beat McSweyn vs how Tim beat him is not the way to go, there are way too many variables at play, first one being that McSweyn simply ran better in Doha...
So far there is no evidence that Jakob is in better shape than Tim, and until Jakob proves that he can actually beat Tim you would be crazy to bet on him as Olympic favorite. Tim is one of the most consistent athletes in the 2 years. Also, the Doha 1500 field was better than the Gateshead one.
Btw, Tim beat Ramsden by 10 seconds today, while Jakob only beat him by 1.7 in Gateshead ;) see how silly that argument is ?

I don;t know a lot of these names. I don't watch womens events much and don't watch much under 800m.
There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy.
Suddenly after the race Tim goes 'heil Hitler'. What was that all about?

Cheriyut is listed at 6'0", but he looks much more shorter than McSweyn who's listed at 6'2". Then again, it's hard to tell because Cheriyut has such a dramatic forward lean when he runs.
Because she's nowhere near 10.6 based on her last outing in Gateshead, and has not been improving as of late - quite the contrary.
She peaked too early. Meanwhile, the actual champions will only be getting faster.
Low ley "she's American" is the only true statement here :)
Why base her shape off of one race, shelly was nowhere near 10.8 based on her outing at gateshead. They may have not run all out to avoid getting injured.
I don't think Sha carri peaked after two months of racing, but even if she has it's not hard to hold your peak for a while as long as you don't over race.

Perhaps a nod to the 'Israel dropping bombs on Palestinians' thread? He knows who his greatest fans are here!

Hahaha wtf boss move
Thanks for the update and quick reply. I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread. Looking for the same issue. Bumped into your thread. Thanks for creating it. Looking forward for solution.
There's also her 200m in Ostrava, which was less impressive than in Gainesville with a much smaller margin of victory over Okagbare.
Gateshead was SAFP's 100m opener - she's known to start the season slowly. Richardson was far more race sharp and should have walked it based on her early season form. She wasn't struggling with those conditions any more than SAFP or Ta Lou.
The other are getting faster whereas Richardson is not.
